The pizza at Gerlanda's Pizza isn't very good, and I think the only reason they're still around is because they're located in the Busch campus student center, where students don’t have many other food options. What really prompted this poor review is that last semester, I found a thin, rectangular piece of plastic (about 1.5" x 0.75") stuck inside my vanilla yogurt with honey and granola. It was disgusting to chew on plastic mixed with granola, and it even cut my cheek. The experience was really upsetting, and I haven’t bought yogurt from any restaurant since. A club ordered a cookie platter from Gerlanda's Pizza. My friend and I, both with tree nut allergies, specifically asked if their cookies contained any tree nuts. They assured us that they did not use any. However, after eating the cookies, we both experienced immediate allergic reactions. I had to be rushed to the ER by ambulance. It is unacceptable for them to deny using tree nuts and endanger someone's life. They must be held responsible. I’m now stuck with significant medical bills. Although my friend’s reaction was less severe, he still vomited and felt awful after eating the cookie. In short, despite their claims, Gerlanda’s does use tree nuts.
not bad at all, i'd consider it nearly equivalent to krispy though the crust is a definitely a little on the thicker side comparatively. though if you don't feel like going all the way to CA for a slice or just want a fresh order id definitely suggest this location for a busch resident
It’s my fav pizza place at Rutgers!!! Tried out their Buffalo chicken pizza onion pepper pizza and the onion pepper one is too good! So cheesy, so mouthwatering
