This place serves incredibly fresh food—just look at the moisture in their subs! Forget about everything else; if you grab a sub for $10 to $14, you'll be hooked for life. Treat yourself to a fresh-filled cannoli as well—it's like experiencing nirvana. When it comes to subs, I highly recommend their cold options. The hot subs are good too, but I prefer the simpler varieties. In my opinion, the Clark Gable and General G subs are their standout choices. I’m giving it 4 out of 5 stars because the quality of the hot subs can be a bit inconsistent.
I love Giannella's. It consistently tastes great, the food is always ready for pickup when they tell you it will be, and the value is incredible. The bread is way better than the typical, generic deli bread you usually get (it tastes homemade and it may be, I'm not sure), the subs are enormous, and the ingredients are always fresh. Most of their subs are in the $9.50-11.00 range, so compared to what you're getting for that price at other establishments, this is one of the best by far.
Great deli to get your sandwich fix. The ingredients are all very fresh and the food is excellent. The sandwiches are huge and you definitely get incredible value. Staff is very friendly as well. Looking forward to trying all their different sandwiches...especially the cheesesteaks, as I have yet to find a good cheesesteak in the entire Bergen County area. Go here and be in awe of all the different and delicious sandwich options they have here!
This establishment has always been one of the best sandwich shops in all the Bergen County. I've been going to his delicatessen almost 30 years. It was very consistent while I was playing for New York Giants and today it continues to remain the same.. excellent service, and a great sandwich with a smile.

Amazing subs! My husband and I usually order from here for football Sunday every weekend. Every sandwich we have ordered had been really great. If you are looking for something different, try one of the chicken cutlet sandwiches. If you are looking for a classic, I highly recommend the Italian hero.
This restaurant has a historical vibe and is impeccably clean, with service that is spot on. Most importantly, the quality of the subs is excellent for the price. The server was very kind and accommodated my request to change my cold sub to a hot one.
Best Italian combo(needs roasted peppers tho), cheese steak, general Italian deli food in NJ! While I was there, there were several customers having breakfast and it looked so good I wanted to try them all! Will be going back as much as possible
