This place has the best bagels in Bergen County, and the staff is incredibly nice and friendly. I visit about four times a week. So why only a three-star rating? Because at least once a week, I find myself returning because my order was incorrect. To improve this situation, I suggest two simple steps: 1) Write down every order and then double-check it; 2) Focus on completing one order at a time, at least until this issue is resolved. I would gladly wait a few extra minutes to ensure accuracy, rather than spend even more time making a return trip. Let's get this sorted out!
I’ve been a resident of Bergen County for over 30 years and have tried nearly every bagel shop in town. Without a doubt, Perry's Bagel Shop is my top choice! Their bagels remain moist and maintain their soft texture all day long. They are perfectly baked, so you won’t find a hard, rock-like bottom that’s tough to chew. The vegetable cream cheese is fresh and has just the right amount of veggies for a nice crunch when you're enjoying the bagel. I only wish the shop was a bit closer to my home so I could pop in for these gems every other day!
Before leaving New Jersey, we had to stop by Perry's for some bagel sandwiches, and it did not disappoint! The bagels were still warm when we got them. I ordered a Taylor ham, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel, and it was absolutely heavenly. The bagels are incredibly soft and delicious—I wish I could have one every day! I also appreciate the care and attention they put into making their sandwiches. Everything was so tasty. The service was excellent too! There are plenty of bagel shops in Northern NJ, but Perry's truly stands out!
I give this place five stars for their bagels. They come out hot and fresh from the oven. The muffins are also outstanding. While I can't claim it's the best bagel in Bergen County since I haven't tried them all, it's definitely the best I've come across so far. By the way, there's a hidden gem here! This is the best bagel shop within a 15-minute radius—no exaggeration. They consistently deliver, and you just don't find delicious, fresh bagels like these anywhere else. I'm so glad I discovered this place. Unfortunately, it's a bit of a trek from my home, but I make the journey all the way from Fort Lee whenever I'm in the area. It's always a must-visit!
