Very traditional German ambient and really pleasant service. Menü is not so various but for my opinion there are just enough different choices to get decent plate with meat, fish or vegetarian food. Waiters are very communicative and positive oriented which helps when you are...evaluating final view on your plate where food is correct and tasty but visually not so attractive. When you get an invoice, everything gets another positive dimension and after good meal you are leaving with good feeling. I warmly recommend this restaurant for all guests who looks after good food and nice experience.
This is one of the best traditional beer house " brauhaus" . They serve their own kölsch beer .Gilden kölch beer is a flat and light beer easy to drink. Their food menu has many selection. I preferred mixed grill plate. All the grilled meat was so delicious. I recommend this place anyone who wants to taste traditional beer and food .
On our last night in Germany we found this delightful restaurant with beautiful decor, pleasant outdoor eating and wonderful staff that couldn’t do enough for us. And the food was delicious! Thank you for our complimentary dessert too. We really enjoyed traditional German cuisine.
We went here with a large group and that was perfect. The service is very swift, with enormous dishes of traditional German food. Enormous pork chops, sauerkraut, we loved it. Don't expect fine cuisine, and by the way, drink beer here...

We visited this restaurant on the way to Leverkusen by recommendation from TripAdvisor. The staff was very friendly, the food very tasty, the restaurant very confortable with correct prices. Absolutely recommendable.
Very nice typical restaurant in Cologne. Wide menu with local specialties and dishes specifically connected to the restaurant itself. Good beer and ratio price/quality is very good.
There's nothing wrong with this place if you just want classic German grub and good beers. It's popular with the locals and the service is on point. Friendly, buzzing atmosphere.
I was staying at the Best Western hotel which is next door and decided to give it a try. The waiter was very good and the food was great. I certainly recommend giving it a try.

We have enjoyed our stay here. It was the best from Koln. We tasted great food and met pleasent waiters, great atmosphere alltogethere. Mandatory to visit when in Koln.
