I was in the Leverkusen city centre on a short errand and had a spare minutes or so for a quick lunch. I found myself a small table close to the open plan kitchen and the waitress quickly realised that I was there and...scurried around to clean and freshen up the table for me. I ordered a simple spaghetti alioli and an apple schorle mentioning that I was under some time pressure. Lo and behold within a few minutes I was presented with a large, steaming plate of freshly made spaghetti with copious amounts of chilli and chunks of garlic. Delicious! The restaurant really deserves the 5 stars. You know that the cook is with the heart and the boss leads the restaurant with passion. For this reason, the review with the Quark is not understandable to me. I know from my own experience that there is no court with quark or the like, so this can definitely not correspond to the truth. The service is super friendly and accommodating. The dishes are always delicious.
When in Leverkusen, this is surely the best place to go when looking for a pasta or pizza. As I have the pleasure to spent numerous evenings in Leverkusen, Mille Lire is one of the places you should go to. Quality of food is more...than ok, price is excellent, good service. From the outside the place looks terrible but overal good stuff!
The restaurant is not located in the most charming part of Leverkusen and it does not look very appealing from the outside, but the Mille Lire is definitely worth a try. The pizza I had was really good and I paid less than for...the pizza and two drinks.

visited by friends before we went to the football in leverkusen. very friendly staff. large selection of dressed, not only the usual pizzas. the lasagne could have more meat but otherwise very good
this restaurant is located in a not so adventurous shopping area, but offers some beautiful dishes and desserts. the portions were great at a reasonable price. personal was friendly and helpful
