Gilly's Snug Harbour Marine

Years ago, I would have given this restaurant a terrible review, but that's no longer the case. Since COVID, they've been able to expand their outdoor dining, and the new owner has made numerous improvements to the place. The staff is fantastic; we've visited more times than I can count this summer, often without reservations, and we rarely encountered any issues finding a table. The food and friendly service have consistently been excellent. My only complaint would be the pricing on some of the wines—be sure to ask the price of a glass before ordering it without checking.

Slightly over-priced for picnic table dining. I'm not sure why this place is so popular other than maybe it's a social gathering for Kill bear park campers craving a restaurant? $22 for an over cooked hamburger and fries. Add $2 to make it into a cheese burger! $29 for 2 piece fish and chips. Never again. I can do some fine dining back home for that kind of money. Besides , eating dinner amongst peoples dogs is not very appetizing to me.

Beautiful little cove off Georgian Bay called Snug Harbour is the setting for this casual family restaurant. The pan fried fresh pickerel and fries were delicious. We also shared some escargot and chowder which had fresh fish and yummy chunks of potatoes and carrots. Great service. Very busy probably because it’s great.

Fantastic restaurant! Everything on the menu is incredible. My top picks are the Georgian Bay Whitefish and the Franklin Island salad... the escargot is also outstanding! Reserva una mesa ahora

One of my favorite places to visit when I'm at my grandparents' Poppleton cottage. I always enjoy the food and the view, and the staff is amazing and friendly.
