I would love to give this place a -1 star as they have just repeatedly disappointed me and other customers a ridiculous amount of times. I thought from the first time I came here it was good and it was promising. But the more I came to eat there, the more horrible it got. From service to the quality of the dishes to even the cleanliness of the restaurant. Flies buzzing around, food sitting on the floor for who knows how long, menu is sticky... and the food was becoming more bland by the minute. The last time I visited this restaurant I walked out in annoyance. It was late at night but far from the time they were going to close and I sat there waiting in an almost empty restaurant for 40 minu...

Had the chicken porridge with deep fried fritter on a Saturday morning, wasn't too impressed with this breakfast set. The chicken porridge lacked ingredients, flavor was ok, the deep fried fritter was good though. It costs only $8 so maybe I shouldn't expect too much? Seems there are more varieties for lunch and dinner

Went here for breakfast. Only had 3 items on the menu for breakfast.. Congee, rice rolls, and soya milk!! Asked the waitress for other dishes and she said none available.. Not even noodles! Come on! A Hong Kong Chinese restaurant with no noodles for breakfast, nor tea nor coffee!! Walked out without eating.
this is the place I go when i don't know what to eat in Eastwood. Their dishes are average (certainly some are above average especially their chicken dishes). The quality of dishes is stable so I won't be like getting something terrible.
Terribly slow service, been here for lunch a few times and it has been quite empty each time but yet my meal takes forever to arrive. Food is average! Plenty of other great places within walking distance.
What's open on New Years Day? A selected few restaurants in Eastwood and Ginger and Shallots was the perfect place to shake off the NYE fatigue.
