Ginger's Of Highwood

Incredible food and even better people! My only suggestion would be to switch up the music occasionally. When you visit, be sure to try the mozzarella sticks or buffalo wing appetizer—some of the best wings on the North Shore! The Italian beef is fantastic, along with the Reuben, Pizzakuchen, steak sandwich, and fish and chips; everything is absolutely delicious! Interestingly, this place used to be a dating site called Gingers of Highwood, where someone was hoping to find a Ginger soulmate. What I found instead was the largest pub in Highwood! Highly recommend!

This is a fantastic local pub featuring delicious large thin-crust pizzas. It boasts an outdoor terrace, a private room for games and events, and a vibrant bar area where you can catch the sports action. The selection of beers and liqueurs is impressive, making it a perfect spot for any occasion.

Everything was fine. The service was a bit slow, but it wasn't too bad, and our friendly waitress made it bearable. The fish in the fish and chips tasted like it came from a frozen package, which was disappointing considering I expected better from an Irish restaurant.

What a beautiful highwood bar and restaurant. If you want to drink in Highwood, Il or eat in Highwood, Il, this place can't beat. Highwood's best pizza too!
