Gino Fontains Pizza and Restaurant

We had dinner here recently with a group of friends and were very happy with the whole experience. We ordered a large roast lamb Pizza and a greek salad to share. We ended up bringing some of the pizza home. The pizza and the salad were delicious. I saw lots of different meals brought out and they all looked to be generous serves. No one in our large group had any complaints about the food or service. Well done!

I don't usually have Italian food, but was in the area and thought I'd try it out based on previous reviews and I wasn't disappointed. I ordered a spaghetti with octopus - perfectly al dente pasta with generous amounts of tender and flavourful octopus and sweet red capsicum; very friendly and welcoming staff, meal arrived within 10 minutes. Surprised it wasn't packed.

We've been lucky enough to have Gino's locally for many years. They have always been consistent with serving fresh, authentic, reasonably priced food. The restaurant (upstairs) is just right for a quiet dinner and the service is exceptional. Their downstairs pizza shop serves the best pizza in Melbourne.

We ate here tonight based on the positive reviews we read. We were greeted by a very friendly waitress and everything was great from there. Delicious garlic and cheese focaccia, pasta and gnocchi. Great value for fresh filling pizzas eat in or take away. Lovely meals to dine in if you are not after complicated food rather good honest Italian dishes. Ignore the décor, the place is clean and tidy and you will not go hungry.

Have made many visits over the years and have always been most happy with food and service. Good range and portion size for family meals- drinks not exorbitantly expensive and overall very good value.

The feed was amazing. BYO wine, starters of potatoe skins and baby octopus, 3 pizza and deserts for three of the four diners amazingly all for under $100. Head upstairs for a night of fantastic food. Reserva una mesa ahora

I have been several times with small and large groups of friends and family. We've never had a bad meal, the pizzas are top notch and other meals all great. Highly recommended.

Got home delivery. Service from Gino was second to none. Pizza was a bit undercooked for my liking and was a bit sloppy. But all in all not bad, will try again.
