Italian food is another one of my favorites. Whenever I’m in the area I at least stop by for a slice of pizza. Their pizza is really delicious along with their pasta. Be careful when the pizza comes out of the oven as it is extremely hot. Most time I ask them not to make it so hot because I can’t wait to eat it. There is a seating area to consume your food. There is also seating for indoor dining. The service is fast and again the food is delicious. The staff are professional and friendly. It was the right place at the right time. We found parking at the door on the side street; when we entered we were pleasantly surprised. The environment downstairs was comfortable. We had a tasty Farfalle w pesto, chicken and sundried tomatoes and a baked ziti w meatball and ricotta cheese. Our server and staff were very nice and polite. We did not wait long for our food.
the first Italian restaurant without chain, I was there and it was not disappointed. that was delicious. the atmosphere was great and quiet. it is fun because it offers services like a deli, but nevertheless it is a great place for a dune in date, with exceptionally great tasting eating. good place overall.
Giovanni is my go-to place for a great lunch or early night dinner. The atmosphere is great and calming. The waiters/waitresses are very engaging and professional. I love to treat my out-of-town of guests to Giovanni's. I have been coming here since 2007 and have never been disappointed.

What a fantastic and convenient stroll from Yankee Stadium for a delightful meal after the Pinstripe Bowl! Walking into this cozy atmosphere and being served authentic Italian cuisine was incredibly welcoming and satisfying!
I’ve been going to Giovanni's for 15 years, and I also order online. I absolutely love the eggplant Parmigiano and the Buffalo wings. The spaghetti is very tasty, too. There’s also a wide variety of pizzas to choose from!
I was in the mood for my Italian in the Bronx so I went to Giovanni’s for takeout. I had cheese tortellini with chicken. It was a bit pricey, but I enjoyed nonetheless. I do wish they gave a bit more pasta for the cost.
This restaurant is a great spot for brunch on Saturday mornings. They have a charming omelette station.
