As for my original review, I've enjoyed this place for almost five years. My partner and I have celebrated birthdays and anniversaries here. The food is fantastic, and the service from the staff is top-notch. It's easily the best Italian restaurant experience I've had outside of Italy. However, it's frustrating that I need to check the weather report before going inside. If it's over 80 degrees, the place can be unbearable. There have been times when the air conditioning was working, but often it's either broken or barely functioning. Now, let's talk about the food, which was definitely the highlight of the experience. The focaccia, semolina cakes, and oysters were all enjoyable, but the standout dishes were the penne rigate and the scallops served over a black and tomato rice. These dishes were unique, delicious, and surprisingly light. The portion sizes for the main courses were just right, though the appetizers were quite small; I think two oysters per order is a bit too few. For dessert, we shared the affogato, which was good but not outstanding. Overall, I would rate the food a solid 5 out of 5, especially the main courses. We ordered the semolina cakes, which were somewhat interesting but rather understated. The Prosciutto plate was decent, and the Burrata was enjoyable. However, it felt like there was more emphasis on presentation and sourcing than actual preparation. I also tried the Tagliatelle with mushrooms, which lacked any standout flavors and seemed unbalanced—too sweet without enough salt or spice; the mushrooms were virtually undetectable. Overall, it didn't live up to the elevated standard you'd expect for the price. Considering the small portions, high prices, the difficulty of making reservations, and the unremarkable dishes, it simply wasn't worth it.

Came here for a date night because we were finally able to snag a reservation online. I highly recommend trying to make a reservation as it seemed very busy the whole time we were there. Our server was amazing and she was able to give us a really good wine recommendation. For the food, we got an appetizer with an extra order of the focaccia. We got the boar pasta and the boar pasta was one of the best pastas I've ever had in my life. The boar was not too gamey and the sauce was just perfect.
