My mother and I decided to try something new, but still in the area. After creating a short list of restaurants we decided on Giuseppe’s and could not have been happier with our decision. I had the oysters (East Coast) that were incredibly fresh, as well as the scallop dinner with potatoes and asparagus. The scallops were perfectly cooked. My mother had the truffle steak, which was also cooked for perfection, and really seasoned with the truffles. It was in no way overpowered, but in the same tone it was not easy to taste. Great! We also had the Buratta, which was also very fresh and great tasting. The staff was very nice and helpful. We'll definitely be back!
Do not be fooled by the humble location, this is the some of the greatest Italian food to be had in the 5 boroughs, and the surrounding suburbs (NJ, CT, Rockland County, etc. There is nothing even remotely performative about this authentic Italian treasure: pure quality cuisine of the highest order, straight from the Motherland, with exquisite drinks and an authentically old school interior that will leave you singing and coming back for more—flavor, freshness, balance, etc. Hats off to the chef and the staff—this is my happy place.
Stay far away for many reasons. Food was average, service horrible and servers were rude. drinks are watered down and wine pours are criminal.waited 20 minutes for our drinks and 50 minutes for our dinner. It get's better. When asked for a manager to discuss our displeasure I was lied to in terms of who I was speaking with. The owners and their daughter are unstable so be careful if you have an issue. I typically do not post reviews but this warrants this review. Enter at your own risk. Scary scene
The service at this restaurant is outstanding, and the food is very good. If you're looking for a traditional Italian experience, don't miss the paprika and sausage appetizers—just be prepared for some spice, as they take their heat seriously. The wine list is impressive as well, and the prices for bottles are reasonable compared to many other places. We didn't try any desserts ourselves, but the couple we were with enjoyed both the bread pudding and the lava cake.

The service at this restaurant is top-notch and the food is delicious. They offer traditional Italian fare, with a focus on dishes that are a bit spicy like paprika and sausages. The wine list is impressive and reasonably priced. Our group didn't have dessert, but our friends enjoyed their bread pudding and lava cake.
Giuseppe is the best Italian restaurant in North Jersey—no doubt about it! And that’s not an exaggeration. You really have to try it for yourself to believe it. It will always be our top choice!
We had an excellent meal; everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. Our server, Mike, was outstanding! We're already looking forward to our next visit.
The food was excellent, the staff was very friendly, and the service was outstanding. I will definitely be returning!
