I just love the surf club. It was packed on Friday night & took the family to enjoy. I think their expectations were low but now they won't stop raving. It's lovely to see a community club doing so well. Nice also to see that a surf club isn't just serving chips on oil on grease. Booked a table because the footy was on and had fabulous service. Very humorous waiter. Food was great: I had a seafood platter. Fried fish was a huge piece of whiting with really crispy batter. Squid was crisp, really tender. Prawns were stunning- cooked to pink and juicy Scallops YUM. So tender so beautiful. Scallops are notoriously not cooked well as a general rule but these melted in the mouth. & chip...

The biggest drawcard, without a doubt, is the sunset! Next is the service, which is always friendly and efficient. The staff are attentive and well organised, which is especially impressive given that some of them are volunteers. The traditional pub food is also really good. We enjoy the seafood platter (grilled), oysters and burgers.  I'd definitely recommend the club for a no-frills, but yummy meal. Another added bonus is that you can enter in flip flops, shorts and a t-shirt, which is very comfortable on a warm summer evening. Check it out!

The Glenelg Surf Club is the perfect spot to sit and sip a cold beer or have some fish and chips while watching the waves rolling in. I did both! I even enjoyed some fresh Coffin Bay oysters in between - they were delicious. The service was quite good although one of the guys kept forgetting things - he forgot the cutlery then came back without a napkin which eventually his female counterpart brought out. Otherwise, great service and certainly great food.

Can't even comment on the food because we could get anything to eat. We turned up at 7:50 on Saturday night and was told by the management that the kitchen weren't taking any more orders as they were too busy! I thought the idea of being a bistro was to make money. had a lovely meal and drinks here, there were 4 of us, and no complaints, all very nice and that wonderful seaside experience was had by all of us, who then had to gtravel back to a very remote area, the sea and everything that goes with that, was top notch.

We came here on a Saturday night and wasn't surprised that on a beautiful summers night this place would be packed! We shared the meat platter which was okay but unfortunately a bit overpriced. Pub type food with fabulous views!

It's a simple dining room & bar. The decor is fine for what the place is, a pseudo pub. We had the seafood basket. Good serving & fresh. Nice view too. Been back once more & it was the same. All good ???????? Reserva una mesa ahora

A seaside high quality community club venue with great views. Family friendly and helpful staff, great food, reasonable prices and good wine list. I would recommend this restaurant/function centre to anyone.

Today I had a spaghetti bolognaise. It tasted like a usual spag bog. Great flavours, quite hot ( physically ) and I loved it.
