Globe Coffee House

We just wanted a quick meal for two of us. We ordered two pancakes and two coffees. The regular coffee was fine, no complaints there. However, waiting 45 minutes for our food and being told "it won't be long" signaled that they had forgotten our order or there was a problem in the kitchen. We ended up leaving and asking for a refund. If the restaurant can't handle 25 people sitting inside, perhaps it's time for them to reconsider their business.

This restaurant is mediocre at best. The place is in need of a major update and the kitchen looks unimpressive. The food was average and the coffee was below par. When we visited in the morning, we had to deal with flies. I would not recommend rushing to this restaurant, as you will likely be let down. The staff seemed disinterested and the kitchen, which is visible to all customers, could use some care and maybe a fresh coat of paint.

Went here for Mothers Day. Quicker service than we expected. Coffees were tasty. They allowed us to substitute a couple of things on the menu. The big breakfast was tasty enough, as were the wraps and pancakes. All cooked well. Ambience not bad. Overall a nice morning. Would certainly return.

I stop in here regularly for coffee and recently had a lovely dinner. our group of 3 adults and two teenage boys enjoyed the champagne chicken, gnocchi with lamb raggu, creamy tortellini, chicken parmigiana and spaghettini alla vongole. Molto delicioso! Give it a go!
