At noon on a Friday with a huge order. We had diners with allergies of two different types. We had Diners who wanted mild and spicy. Some might have cheese and some might not. The sum of our combined bill was near $100.00, which should tell you that we had a lot of food just $3,50 and $4,50 a Entree!! If you had seen how they handled the orders and the other customers who would like to order, you would have been so impressed! The food was hot and fresh. The best Papusas in the USA hands down and the best service to boot. Fresh, locally produced ingredients and a smile on their faces. Seriously, Glorias Pupusaria does everything right! Visited the restaurant on 3/10/18 at the recommendation of TripAdvisor while in Staunton on a college visit. We had searched the internet for restaurants with vegan options and decided to try Gloria's because we had never heard of pupusas. We were very pleased not only with great food at a reasonable price but also GREAT service and their offer to customize a side dish to make it vegan. Highly recommend this eatery.
Gloria is fantastic! She came to our table multiple times to make sure we were happy and even check on my very enthusiastic infant who was loving the dishes they prepared for us. Do not skip the horchata! So delicious. Fried plantains were amazing too. Of course, the pupusas were tasty as well. We will return again and again both at the Staunton farmer's market and the brick and mortar location. Yum!
Cozy little spot in Staunton, VA. The friendly staff serves up fresh, local cuisine. The pupusas are absolutely fantastic, and there are even extra options to choose from! Wow! This restaurant is incredible! The food is incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented! I can’t say enough good things about it. The restaurant is also impeccably clean. You should definitely check it out today! I’m also looking forward to trying their brunch!
