The cakes, in front of all Black Forest cherry cakes for which the Glotterstüble is famous, are really excellent. However, the cakes are sold out regularly between 14.00 and 15.00. First regular black forests. It was not possible today to order the soup with Wienerle on the map because the kitchen was overloaded. People's attack didn't get out at 3:00. I wondered how they probably disturbed these people, because all the cakes were gone. I think from experience the Glotterstüble should know slowly that they need to prepare enough cakes on a Sunday afternoon, especially between holidays.
They took them almost 40min to get our order and we waited 20min for a salad that had too much dressing. I want to say that not everything comes from a frozen bag, but the flame cake looked like a frozen pizza and tasted like... that. I thought the dough was really thin, but... That wasn't the case. Terrible decision. I didn't have time to try a piece of cake, I think it's the only thing worthy there.
We ate there yesterday afternoon. 1. If you want a carving without mushrooms, you must pay everything extra. Schnitzel 5,80 Euro, Pommes ca. 4 Euro plus salad also about 4 Euro. 2. It is a very well maintained coffee with a small lunch card. The cakes are always freshly baked and have quite large pieces. In terms of price, they are somewhat above average, but they are worth the money. However, the coffee (own coffee card with many specialties) is far too expensive.
I stopped coffee and cake on my way home yesterday. Apparently, this place is popular with the cashier and borehole? Local. Very common black coffee for 3.20! Less than average cake for 4.20! 'Kaptives Audience' with a rehab? The clinic is just the...street probably explains a lot.
This is a nice restaurant in the Glotter Valley. Beautiful setting, both inside and outside seating area. We had the best Black Forest cake and portion size is huge as you can see from the photo. Recommend this place to others.
