We love Sunday roast here but celebrated my birthday last Saturday and had a chance to try other dishes we hadn’t tried before. Limited choices on the main menu but don’t forget to look at the lovely specials on the board. Great quality of food with produce from local farms but also come with a price. For £19.50, I would expect two sea bass fillets. They compensated the dish with a crab meat and prawn spring roll cut into two pieces. Some may like it but if I wanted sea bass, I preferred 2 fillets than 1 with a spring roll. We had a dog with us, so always sat in the bar area. Staff ok, more like trainees in the bar area, probably more professional in the main dining room. 10% service charge...
Food is always excellent but I'm writing this review to say how fabulous to see, as usual at this time of year, the beautiful Christmas tree and decorative lights! What a fantastic find, lovely food and service. The staff were very pleasant and more than helpful. Also allows you to stay over in the carpark. We have a large motorhome over 8 metres and there was loads of space. AMAZING Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
