We discovered that we were not seated in the loft as expected, but instead in the main hotel dining area. The room was spacious with tables scattered all around. It had a bustling atmosphere which was to be expected in such a large room. The food was decent, with some dishes lacking in flavor but others being quite tasty. Personally, I am not a big fan of carvery meals, but if they can do well with their starters and desserts, why not also with the main course? Our waitress was lovely and even went out of her way to move us to a better table away from the drafty door. I would like to thank her once again for her attentive service.

Today we visited a carvery restaurant and were seated in the Abbey Suite. The layout of the tables in the room was a bit odd, but it ended up working in our favor since we had a young child with us. The room was quite spacious, which was great for us. The appetizers and carvery mains were delicious, with a nice selection of meats and vegetables along with tasty gravy. The service was attentive but not overbearing, and we never felt rushed during our meal. Overall, it was a very pleasant dining experience and we would definitely consider returning in the future.

My husband, daughter, and I tried Oktober for the first time this Sunday. My husband and I both had the curry, while my daughter had the lasagna. We all enjoyed our meals and desserts, along with drinks at the bar and hot beverages. The prices were very reasonable. We definitely plan on visiting again, as the atmosphere was nice and relaxed and the staff was brilliant. All COVID restrictions were followed and the restaurant itself is beautiful both inside and out.

an excellent Christmas dinner here in the frame of a large group. eating was really good with a great selection of sweets. the personal was very attentive.

Fantastic roast dinner and desert delivered in time. The beef dinner I find brilliant and my wife being a vegetarian has two options as well.
