I ordered a classic combo pizza and was really disappointed! It had no mushrooms or onions, just a few black olives, sausage, and pepperoni. The cook mentioned there would be very little mushroom, which was not what I expected. For a $25 pizza, I won't be returning! Additionally, the atmosphere felt more geared towards gambling than enjoying a meal, which made me quite sad. It seems like Chatham Godfather is focusing more on the gambling business than on pizza. I definitely won't be back! By the way, the location in Springfield on Wabash is much better—I'd recommend going there instead. Ironically, I asked for dine-in but ended up with takeout.
We ordered our pizza and wanted to eat in. Was self-serve for your drinks, plates, silverware. I attempted to get 2 plates from stack of plates. I picked up multiple plates and all were dirty. I went to counter and ask the young man if he had other plates that were clean. He shrugged his shoulders and informed me that was all they had. I said well they are dirty. He again shrugged. When my husband went to get silverware, same thing, dirty. Ended up taking to bathroom and washing them. Bad as bathroom was filthy too.Pizza was excellent but had trouble enjoying thinking about the potential dirty kitchen. Won't come back.
The pizza is pretty good at this place and the employees seemed friendly. There were two minor issues. The first is that the pizza here is a bit pricy compared to other places unless you buy one of the deals. The other issue was that they seemed to be really busy but only had two employees working so it took an hour to get the pizzas. It's probably not always like this but on this Friday evening, it was.
I really enjoy this restaurant because the staff has been consistently friendly and have been working there for as long as I've been a customer. The cheese sticks here are truly my favorite in town! I highly recommend this place for all your pizza cravings, and please remember to tip the staff! Not many people dine in anymore, and many places have had to rely on outside delivery services.

We ordered two pizzas and monkey bread for $69.00, and it was definitely not worth it. The toppings were sparse, and the caramel monkey bread lacked any caramel flavor. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone—such a disappointment!
The pizza’s delicious, the service is fast and the staff are very friendly and attentive.
