I've visited this restaurant several times, and it really feels like a hit or miss experience. While I've ordered some of the same menu items multiple times, the quality varies greatly; sometimes the dish is delicious, but other times it's simply over-seasoned. I enjoy robust flavors, but in these cases, it's just too much to appreciate. I always make sure to order the shrimp empanadas, but unfortunately, they struggle to keep the filling intact. The filling is often dried out, leaving just a few shrimp and a hint of the once-rich cheese and garlic sauce that I remember. I found this place by a simple google search! Well it’s a gem! Everything was delicious! We had for an appetizer the empanada sampler and wow!!!! My husband had the skirt steak tacos which were delicious and seasoned to perfection! I had the city island basket and it may have been the best fried fish I’ve ever had! Definitely come visit this place!
The food was okay. Ordered the shrimp and fish basket and wings. This a preference but I prefer the wings crispy. Unfortunately the waiter didn’t tell us the charge a fee for BYOB. $30 to bring your own bottle. When entering the restaurant staff didn’t great or give any direction a young lady was on her phone before she acknowledged us.

The food was so amazing here and Mark provided perfect customer service. We arrived at 8:15pm not realizing that they closed at 9 and Mark let us stay and eat! The food is amazing and worth every penny. Definitely a permanent night out staple for me! Thanks Mark!
The City Island basket was absolutely delicious! It was perfectly seasoned, and the sauce had a nice kick to it, which made it well worth it! The staff were very attentive, and I loved that it's a BYOB place! We definitely plan to return to try more dishes!
What a gem a few blocks away from my house! Wow! Food is amazing! I had the cheese mofongo, lobster mac n cheese, pastelitos and house salad...in a food coma at this moment! Will definitely come back again!
Cute and clean place, nice owner. Great music. Only reason I gave 2 stars is because the food is oily what I ordered was not good but the empanadas and calamari were great however again really oily.

I ordered some Mac and cheese along with burger and fries and fell in love with the Mac and cheese! Burger and fries were on point too!!
The atmosphere is cozy and intimate! The staff is attentive and friendly. I really appreciate the variety of options on the menu.
