I am updating my review because my experiences over the past two years with this restaurant have been disappointing. The owner or manager should consider hiring a new staff member to handle phone orders, as the current employee struggles to accurately take orders and process credit/debit card information. Communication difficulties result in multiple errors and delays, and the employee does not provide menu options efficiently. The last time I ordered a family combo, I was underwhelmed by the small portions of chicken, salad, yellow rice, and beans. The only item with a satisfactory portion size was the tostones. Paying $38 for this meal was not worth it, especially when I found another Span...
I stupidly decided to take a date here even though she actually picked the place but it was definitely a horrible experience I was the only person in there and she managed to mess up my order not once but twice I ordered a mini Bandeja and she sent out to claiming that I asked for two orders when I clearly didn’t mature not get confrontational I told her just to pack it up to go and I will pay and she was very adamant that I did ask for it horrible customer service the food wasn’t all that just find yourself another place
I ordered a chicken empanada and a cheese empanada which cost $3 each. The cheese one didn’t have a lot of cheese but it was ok was ok and for the chicken empanada all I got potatoes and carrots for filling barely any chicken. I know we are living though inflation so I don’t mind paying $3 but at least provide what you are charging people for. Oh I wish I could add a photo of the empanada I got from them but there is no option for me to post a photo here.
I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The salmon was extremely overcooked and dry. The price I paid for this meal was not worth it and I was left feeling disgusted. I remember having the same meal a month ago and it was much better, probably because they were closing at that time. It seems like the best time to go to this restaurant is when they are about to close. During busy hours, the food seems rushed and lacks flavor.

The only redeeming quality of this restaurant is their chicken, though it is often dry and inconsistent. The other dishes they serve are mediocre and lack flavor. Most recently, I tried their empanadas which were tasteless and undercooked. It felt like I was eating more corn flour or potato than chicken or meat in the empanada. Unfortunately, I will not be ordering from Golden Chicken again. Goodbye.
My first time coming in… I was greeted by two young ladies and they were very nice to me. I ordered the chicken soup to go (they have many different kinds on certain days). It was neatly packed and came with lime, chips and the best avocado sauce I’ve ever had!!It was delightful. Veggies were cooked well and so was the chicken. I certainly will be coming again.
The chicken is delicious, but the staff is horrible. The man during the week is rude and racist.the young lady on the weekend is nasty as hell. Going through some of these reviews the owner needs to read them. They are making this place horrible and we need to make a complain with the city.
The service at this restaurant has been consistently bad ever since they removed the female staff. The service has not improved and they even forgot about a large rice order. They act like they don't remember anything. Food quality: 5/5.

Don’t let appearances fool you—the decor may be plain but the food is fantastic.I had the “Chaufa de Carne” and it was a very satisfying delicious meal.The service was great, we’re definitely going back soon.
The food is ok but the service has to be improved. The management should read the previous reviews if they want to improve their business.
