I haven't been to a buffet and years and we came here as a group and I don't know what to say. The food didn't look appealing at all. It didn't look like anybody stirred the stuff. You can see a caked up in the pans Not stirred and mixed. This resturant. Looks like it will not pass any inspection. The carpet was filthy and dirty and has a old smell like somebody's, grandmother's, attic or basement . The food was subpar. I had chicken and was really excited about it but it didn't have any seasoning. The steak was pretty good. The broccoli was good but I mean you can't go wrong with broccoli and it just didn't look good to me. I would most definitely not recommend this restaurant. Try another...
This particular restaurant was out of many menu items. The tables are packed so tight, that it is sometimes difficult to leave your table and come back to enjoy your meal, because other customers are so close together. The taste of the food is decent and we had a really nice server who was very attentive, in spite of how busy she was. There was a lot of waste in this restaurant and I don't know if allowing guests to touch the same serving utensils when getting their meal is a wise idea; especially with the pandemic and you could see that some people were visibly not well.
This review presents both good and bad news. The good news is that the food at this Golden Corral is, as usual, very good. However, the bad news is quite disappointing. The grumpy, toothless cashier yelled at us, and our server didn't attend to us at all. An adjacent server had to help us, and there was food spilled all over the plates, silverware, and floor. It's clear that the servers were working hard when they were able to, but it seemed like they needed more staff, which they weren't getting. I like Golden Corral, but I'm doubtful I'll return to this location.
I observed the staff preparing the salad, and they appeared to be focused on delivering a quality product. However, I encountered some issues finding small containers for items like tartar sauce and spent about five minutes searching for a container for ice cream. Additionally, I was seated near the area where used dishes are collected. While the staff working in that area was very attentive, the odor from there did affect the overall dining experience. If you spend a dollar at this place, you're drunk, high, or both. Absolutely disgusting restaurant in every way imaginable. Odd aroma throughout the entire restaurant... all the food tastes like said aroma. If you don't get sick from the food, you may just die by getting stabbed by the knives that are stuck in the ceiling tiles. Heath department needs to shut this place down like yesterday! 4.0 rating at the time of this review has got to be a joke. Save yourself, your loved ones, and your pocket book. Gotta run... Emergency bathroom break!
All five if us was hungry. Well they had mad choices. I try several thing and the only thing not good was the backed/steam fish. My niece didn't like her rib. Our severe was GREAT!!! We about closed the place down. The table next to us had they on music planning but it wasn't to bad. Price okay. Mostly hot food. Big selection OH,the chili was good,roast beef off the chain my sister,my niece in-law niece loved it. Little great nephew didn't like the mac-cheese HE LOVES MAC-CHEESE but not what the had today.
Haven't been here in ages. A few friends and I met there for an early dinner on a Sunday. It was really, really busy. I'm guessing, church crowd. But, from the cashier to the server, they gave great service. Very clean, food was fresh and delicious. It was just a few items missing from the salad bar, and the ice cream machine was out of order. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and will go back regularly.
The service staff was a bit short-handed, but the team that was present worked hard to accommodate our group of 11, who gathered to celebrate my great nephew's 6th birthday! Meka, the cashier, did an outstanding job by stepping in to take our drink orders and clear tables whenever she had the chance. The manager and the staff all had very friendly attitudes. First time back since the pandemic. The place wasn't crowded. The waiter was very nice, friendly and funny. They had a nice variety of food that was hot and fresh. However, the dessert area needed some love. They did not replenish the dessert. The ice cream machine wasn't working. Overall, I was still satisfied.
