Golden Country - Reserva de mesa

Not surprised it was dead in there Probably the worst Chinese restaurant we’ve been to. Meat tasted “off”, beef was chewy, chicken tasted like it had been re cooked multiple times, all the food was lukewarm and drinks were flat. Even the water tasted like chlorine. Told the waitress that one of our meals were wrong but was told it wasn’t. Couldn’t be bothered to argue, left 70% of our meal and complained at the end but it just resulted in a shrug from them. Don’t bother go ANYWHERE else.

We ordered takeout over the phone and were initially quoted a 40-minute wait time. However, our food didn't arrive until 1 hour and 35 minutes later, and it was cold. Despite calling to follow up, the delivery driver arrived without proper change and charged us £40 instead of the original £33 for our cold meal. This experience was highly disappointing and unacceptable.

This dining experience was terrible. The portions were tiny and the food was incredibly bland. It may have been a blessing, considering how overpriced it was and the poor quality of ingredients used (such as spring rolls tasting like cabbage). The service was also very bad. Overall, it was expensive and not worth the money.

Ordered a take away. Spring rolls were fine. Crispy shredded duck was decidedly uncrispy, flabby skinned and non shredded duck. Ribs were coated in a tasteless orange sticky sauce. Chow mein was bland. Will try elsewhere next time! Reserva una mesa ahora

Not visited since before lockdown so was unsure what would be like. I need not have worried. Food was nothing less than excellent, served promptly and plenty of it. Staff were attentive and friendly.

We had another fabulous takeaway again this evening. The crispy duck in plum sauce and sweet& sour king prawn with separate sauce was wonderful. I have never had a bad meal.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic and reasonably priced. The staff is wonderful and the atmosphere is lovely. A nice touch was when they gave us Christmas crackers.

Absolute joke called numerous times once I got through calls were not answered never going again!! At least when you get through answer the dam phone Reserva una mesa ahora

Gorgeous food. Only used their delivery service so far but its always been fast ,efficient , hot and on time. Would highly recommend.

Visited for our last night and food was tasty and plentiful, even had to bring some away. Friendly staff and good value, recommend
