Noisy, but great ambience. We ordered the Brussels sprouts for a starter and they were delicious! But our entrees let us be very disappointed. Both the short ribs and the Thai snapper were oversalted. And I'm serious. The short ribs were still quite good because they came with rice and tortillas. The Thai Snapper was the second most disappointing meal of my life! The fish was burned and came skin, head and bone completely on the plate. If I understood it before, I wouldn't have ordered it. I am not a stranger to fish, but between the inconspicuous presentation and my ability to get only 3-4 bites after cleaning and the skeleton and the skin and the burnt areas that I felt this was certainly...

Very romantic place for Valentine's Day! Stop for a special drink before over Cirionos in Grass Valley. The hotel is located on the main street in Grass Valley with a historical hotel and stories of GHOStS, which are home to this hotel/bar/restaurant. Old, but rebuilt elevator. Smoked chicken wings are great as they have a smoker in the backyard. Friendly and stylish atmosphere. Get the chocolate old from Kawika and you are set!

I was at the Holbrooke Hotel on October 16th. I was one night at Purcell House and the main hotel the rest of my stay, which included one night in one of the balcony suites. Very recommended room 18. All staff are friendly and will try for a pleasant stay. Especially Tara and Sonya. Thanks for your help during my stay.

Second time here inside the Holbrooke Hotel. The first was epic as Mac DeMarco showed up for an 'after party ' downstairs. Everything is superb!! This place is worth the drive.Food: 5/5

Excellent food and ambience. Service was a little slow for only 4 customers all over the place. Love the mood!!
