We really like Golden Samovar. With its Eastern European menu, the tastes are unusual and very good. Our bottle of white wine was from Georgia didn't know wine was made there. My partner had Borscht soup while I had Lentil soup lots of sour cream and potatoes. Yum! I had a Salad Olivie (Mostly eggs , chicken and potatoes). My partner had a chicken dumplings dish called Golubcy. Excellent fresh bread. We'll be back!
Menu sounded great but was disappointed with food. Mine was a huge plate of rice (which the waiter admitted afterwards that nobody ever finished) with a few pieces of meat that weren't seasoned much. Friend had sausage which was very tasty but she said mashed potatoes that came with it were very bland. Too bad, as there were many things on the menu we would have tried in future visits.
We went for Mother's Day. We waited minutes until anybody came to take our order. The food takes very long too. Even though the restaurant was not full, there were not enough waiters. The lack of waiters should not be our problem though. After minutes wait, my daughter went to complain. After minutes we got our drinks. My mom is in a wheel chair, so we did decide to stay.
GS is fast becoming our go to local favorite! The quality of the dishes is always outstanding! The staff is very accommodating aim to please. We’ll continue to enjoy until we make our way down the entire menu back again! Reserva una mesa ahora
We went really early so we were the only customers there. Smoked fish plate was wonderful as was the bread. Had the chicken tabaka which was wonderful and the vodka menu is amazing...
Its mix of kitchens, between Russian kitchen and central Asia. I grow up with this food and that is very close to home flavors for me. I would recommend
