After living around the corner for nearly five years, my husband and I decided we should go here for dinner. We were the only diners and only one person came in for take away, so service was obviously very good. The young girl working seemed shy, but very nice. We ordered the tempura vegetables to split for starter, which on the menu listed things like sweet potato, cauliflower and other veg I would expect in the dish. What showed up was mostly deep fried onions with a couple bits of cabbage, broccoli (ok), capsicum and one bit of grated carrot - none of which were mentioned on the menu.Our combination chow mien was ordered hot (we were asked if we would like hot or mild), at which point hub...
I have never made public comment or reviewed a restaurant before, thou this was really bad. Being on holidays with my family, we decided to go out for a meal instead of the standard BBQ while caravaning around. Expensive, Tasteless, and just VERY VERY BAD. The nice lady behind the counter did not seem to be surprised when I told her how bad the meal was.
WE were the only eat in's that night but plenty of takeaways.Opposite beach but no view once dark,heaps of birds calling out in the trees outside great to hear. Marvelous service but as I said only ones getting table service.Food very good ,Did not think we could eat it all but we did great food,great price.
The food was tasty but the combination platters which included an assortment of dishes were small. 2 plates of rice for 7 adults was not fulfilling. The air con was 'broke' so inside was sweltering hot. We were the only people eating in, but plenty of take aways being sold. Would not rush back in a hurry!

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. A friendly older Asian man greeted us and the food was fantastic. I would definitely recommend it. We used it as a tapas eatery. The outside area was a bit untidy, but there was easy parking close to the main street and the beach.
My hubby and I went for dinner a couple of weeks ago.I ordered the so called Tasmanian Scallops.I doubt if they were even Scallops. No roe on and the shape wasn't right. I would not be at all surprised if they were made out of Shark.
The hot and sour soup at this restaurant is incredible, even though it's not listed on the menu. We always ask for it and are never let down. The satay beef is delicious, as is their sweet and sour pork and beef in black bean sauce.
Checked the menu and pricing on the door before entering. Decided to give it a go. Service was average, meal was less than average and meals were more expensive than the prices in the window. Below par

very authentic. we have never had a bad meal from here. even though its a little expensive we manage to get at least two meals out of what we buy. worth the trip to get it.
no bookings required take away available excellent staff bar available, very romantic for a couple and well within your budget and the meals are perfect
