Live music and happy hour! Located within the island resort, Goldie's is a restaurant that offers a happy hour from 3 to 7 PM. The menu features a variety of options, including pizza, appetizers, main courses, and desserts. I ordered the grilled salmon, which I highly recommend. However, others in our party had the burgers, and unfortunately, they were overcooked, so I can't recommend those. My husband tried the salad with prawns, which was somewhat lacking in quantity but tasted good. We did experience a long wait for our meals, but the staff offered us a free drink as compensation, which showcased excellent customer service. I did manage to veganize a pizza, which was tasty, but I noticed that the price increased significantly just for a small amount of vegan cheese. We also found the main dining area to be quite noisy, so we asked to be moved to a quieter spot since we were there for a special catch-up and wanted to be able to converse easily. We were told that we couldn't really be moved, but we decided to relocate ourselves to the other end of the restaurant where it was empty, and that turned out to be perfect. On a positive note, the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our visit.
I had a fantastic experience with the pub food at Goldie's Bar and Bistro. I've visited for lunch the past three days. From the weekday $16 lunch menu, I sampled the Rump Steak, which was outstanding, and the Beer Battered Barramundi fish and chips, which was also excellent. I also tried the $22 Angus Beef Burger from the regular lunch and dinner menu, and it was a truly delicious burger. This place offers top-notch pub food right in the heart of Surfers Paradise, conveniently located opposite the Novotel Hotel on Surfers Paradise Boulevard.
Food was not as ordered. Ordered gravy with schnitzel and came out plain. Clearly asked for it twice at checkout. Wait staff argued and did not want to provide the gravy. Shook his head as walked off. My kids won’t eat schnitzel without gravy. Girl who took my order did not understand English and hence my missing gravy. Couldn’t believe such an issue to get it from the kitchen for my kids. Will not be going back to be treated poorly and to have wait staff argue with me. Just get the gravy. Not that much of a big deal!!!!

Menu looked great online so I booked for Sunday dinner. When we got there there was shorted menu didn’t even offer the Sunday night special that was advertised, didn’t have a kids menu so ordered the burger and just wanted meat cheese and sauce but chefs advised they couldn’t do that -so unfortunately we had to leave. Manager looked embarrassed Disappointing
I really enjoy Goldie’s weekday lunch special for $15. The steak is always served nice and hot, and I find it quite delicious. The only downside is the view of the tram, which isn’t great. However, the interior of the restaurant is very nice, and the staff appear well-groomed and attentive.
Food and service was good, but we unfortunately had quite abit of trouble with one security guard. Our group was there to just have dinner, most of which weren’t drinking. A few mates forgot their Id in which the security guard tried to refuse them entry.
We attended the Sunday Roast Revival and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredible, and the food was outstanding. I’d also like to extend a special thanks to Grace, who was incredibly helpful while we were booking the package.

The staff were friendly, and the wood-fired pizzas are absolutely delicious. They also offer live music, which adds a fun and interactive element to the experience. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return!
