Gommerstuba - Reserva de mesa

Fast zufällig sind wir am Samstag, 29.08.2020, zu viert in der Gommerstuba gelandet. Wie wurden herzlich empfangen und ebenso herzlich betreut. Zudem war die Beratung bezüglich Essen wie Wein durch die Dame des Hauses hervorragend. Selbst der Salat durcheinander war ein Leckerbissen. Frischeren Salat gibt es nicht und Büchsenbeilagen fehlten gänzlich. Ein Zeichen einer grossen Qualität. Dieser Qualitätsanspruch hat sich durch alle Speisefolgen gezogen. Wir vier haben das Restaurant unter dem Absingen von Loblieder verlassen und sind überzeugt eine Adresse gefunden zu haben die einen weiteren Besuch lohnt.

With all the great reviews and knowing that it earned 15 points on gault&millau, we wanted to give it a try. The place itself isn't special but the food is good and the staff/owners are really nice. The only drawback is that lot of the meals are with cream, cheese or other fatty ingredients; so when you take 3+ meals course this is quite heavy (more balanced would be good).

Starting from presentation of the first dish till the taste of the last piece of chocolate served with coffee… it was a masterpiece! Combination of different ingredients is sometimes surprising but blends very well together. Big thank You to the restaurant for having us and making this an exceptional meal.

Das Abendessen in der Gommerstuba war erste Klasse. Preis/Leistund stimmt zu 100% überein. Es ist sehr zu empfehlen jeweils das 4-Gang-Wochenmenue zu nehmen. Ansonsten hat man eine übersichtliche Speisekarte. Auch hier nach dem Motto Qualität vor Quantität. Super, wir kommen wieder. Reserva una mesa ahora

Yes, the food was fine. Not great in the Michelin-starred sense, but very satisfactory nonetheless. Where it all went belly-up is the prices. For those prices, you'd expect really world-class, exceptional food, service and surroundings. This is simply not the case.

Wir durften aufgrund unseres Hotelaufenthaltes diese Gaumenfreude geniessen. Es war kurz gesagt einfach grandios. Von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert. Wir waren nicht das letzte Mal zu Besuch.
