Gourmeltz - Reserva de mesa

Unremarkable (not particularly interesting or surprising) I read the reviews, I live near by, I was dissapointed and thought the current reviews did not match my experience. It was not busy on the Thursday at 11:30 when I visited. Service was friendly and quick. left approx 30% tip. I ordered the classic grilled cheese with swiss and gouda, and the tomato basil soup. The sandwich was nothing special, not sure what all the hype is about. It was a little skimpy on the cheese (after all it's $9) It was slightly soggy on the side facing the plate, and the cheese was about 80% melted. But the real kicker was the tomato basil soup. So delicious!! The new and best spot in Fredericksburg and I consider myself a Foodie! The wings were great and the Turkey avocado melt even better. I even let my son sucker me into a piece of banana cake and it was superb. Great atmosphere and to top it off, its owned by a wounded worrier/vet. Almost didn't want to write a review so I could keep it myself!!

Everything and anything with cheese, they have it. But I love grill cheese. I now go more because of Sunday football. The customers are very vocal and fun. Competition at its finest. Only one issue is their burgers. They are juicy, but you don't get to pick if you want medium. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

First time at Gourmeltz we will definitely be back! Family owned everything was so fresh! Had the beef brisket and the buffalo chicken sandwiches both were outstanding! They have VA brewed ciders that were really great too. Highly recommend! Reserva una mesa ahora

This place is a the food is a marketing scheme. You would think you would get something delicious but it all taste like cheap greasey junk for drunk aholes or for old people who have no more taste buds left.

Super nice staff. Very clean restaurant. Totally reasonable prices. But the food is hands down worth the 40 minute drive it takes me to get there!!!! It's my new favorite place!!!
