We spend a few months of the year in this town and this cafe is our favourite haunt. The coffee is great and breakfasts/lunches are simple but scrumptious. Great spot for people watching and meeting interesting people. Watched over by mauritzio who has a wicked sense of humour.
So friendly, with lovely coffee and breakfast. It is where all the locals go, so I would advise to get their early or you will have to wait. In the evenings they expand out onto the town center square, that gets full fast. It is a relaxing way to finish off the day.
Had coffee here on a few mornings and sundowners in the square most evenings. The waitress was fantastic considering it is very popular and she worked so hard. Wednesday evenings there is outdoor music and dancing so either get their early or book a table.
I just saw someone write grumpy waiter and poor service. Probably the miserable people we say behind us who complain about everything... don't go back! The crac is brilliant here, the food good, the coffee great and Mauritzio's jokes are even better Reserva una mesa ahora
Perfect Expresso's and Latte's (Caffee Creme) and you can have good food too, but only a simple lunch (plat du jour) Italian style. Right next to the town square with the market for vegatables every morning and more stuff on Saturday.
Lovely spot and what felt like the only cafe in the town. Run by a great Italian New Yorker. Fresh French breakfast and as you would expect from an Italian - amazing code. Will definitely be back.
The food is amazing and the service is friendly and impeccable. It's also a minute away from everything being right on the main town square. A must try.
