Gran Tasca Manzano

I just had four tapas and a bottle of water with gas for seven euros or thereabout. Unbelievably inexpensive, friendly servers, and most importantly, delicious food! I had the marinated sardines, a local potato dish, chicken, and pork stew. Despite the long name, I think the restaurant goes by “Manzano.“ A bit out of the way but so what ... easy walk from Plaza Mayor.

Walked across town on the strength of the reviews and was not disappointed. Very busy and atmospheric. Full of locals and buzzing. Tapas €1 each so had 12 chosen by the most excellent Gustavo who was charming and helpful. Total bill €22.80 €25 with tip) 2 large beers, 2 glasses of red wine, 12 tapas, 2 coffees. What great value! Will definitely return.

We were searching for a tapas place and gran tasca was the place to be. Around 10-15 different tapas one euro each, we tried almost everything and we were not dissapointed by even one of them. Everything was tasty. Highly recommended

A nice neighbourhood bar with good beer, reasonable tapas, friendly service and some outdoor seating. Location is however nothing special: outside Salamanca's historic centre, at a traffic intersection among charmless modern blocks.

Good food, nice location and cheap prices. We will definitely come again. I would recommend it to everyone!
