We visited Albi for the day and needed somewhere to have lunch. We are so pleased we chose Le Pontie. Service was quick but not rushed and the food was excellent. Two of us had the beef carpaccio, one had salmon cannelloni and I had a chicken ceasar salad. Excellent service and very good value for money.
Food was okay and on the expensive side. The plus points are location on a Saturday night as there are free concerts on the square and the waiters work really hard to get everything just right. It's a piece of old school France that seems to be disappearing. The wine list is heavy on the reds.
Good food and nice location. Prices looks normal in the cart but during the weekends and public holidays they will add 10% additional. The staff looks serious rarely smiling. But the preparation of the plates were just excellent.

We had a drink here after walking around the town. It was a very pleasant spot with good service and fair prices. Worth remembering if you are walking that way
We called here for a drink and to people watch on an extremely hot day. The outside tables had plenty of shade and the service was very good.
