Grand China Buffet

While on a motorcycle ride from our home in Flushing, MI, we decided to stop in Alpena for lunch or dinner. My wife suggested trying the Grand China Buffet, so we decided to give it a shot. We enjoyed it so much that we planned a return visit, which we made just yesterday. The food was hot, and they did a great job of keeping the buffet well-stocked. From now on, every future trip in that direction will include a stop at the Grand China Buffet for our meals.

It was incredibly easy to get in, and all the drinks and food we ordered were enjoyable and reasonably priced. This is my favorite spot for lunch and dinner. Whenever I mention what we're having tonight, it’s always the Big China Buffet without a second thought. Sometimes I don't even have to ask—I just take them somewhere else, because we'd be at the Big China Buffet every time, haha! And trust me, my kids wouldn’t mind that one bit.

This was my first time here, and it was fantastic! There was a great variety of food, including chicken, beef, shrimp, vegetables, noodles, and egg rolls. You can go back for as much as you want! The side dishes were excellent, and the dessert table was amazing with cakes, puddings, and ice cream. The waitress was very friendly, too. There were two of us, and we spent less than $20. Wow! I will definitely be coming back!

The table was sticky, the buffet was decent, not a ton of choices however. The bathroom was HORRIBLE, the stall door was almost falling off and didn't lock. The toilet had fecal matter on the top rim of the bowl. It was busy, it was a dirty mess, they did not have social distancing in place, no plastic gloves to use on the handle of the utensils, the food was mediocre at best and I would not recommend!! polite workers and hot eating! kokosnuss huhn and erdnussbutter huhn are amazing and I usually don't like a sweet eating for a meal. eier does not roll my favorites, but edible. Crab cheeses are however perfect.

Lunch buffet very good. Very attentive and pleasant server. Great price. Will gladly make the trip over again when in the mood for Chinese food. Didnt give 5 stars, nothing is perfect but well worth a stop.

The food was good, just a little bit on the hot side. Maybe adjust the burners down just a little bit under the warming pans? But other than that, wonderful! Definitely recommend this place.

When this place opened, it was great, but the food quality has declined significantly since then. Try the place across from Wal-Mart instead. Reserva una mesa ahora

It was dirty the floor needed new carpet It needed to be remodeled the hole place the food was good when hot
