Grand Hotel de l'Europe

My internet connection unfortunately did'not work and I was not able to chek the reviews before eating here.Do not make the same mistake. I really don't understand why this restaurant was full? The receptionist woman was so impolite and we made the second mistake, we did'not run. The show went on: the waitress was a litle bit faster than a snail and I am prety sure that not all food is prepared on the spot. They advertise everywhere a local speciality , a sort of "chausson au canard" , which I woould never try again. Run away as fast as possible.

I really don't understand why this restaurant was full? the receptionist woman was so rude and we made the second mistake, we...did' not run. the show went on: the waitress was a bit faster than a screwdriver and I am sure that not all foods will be prepared before spot. they advertise everywhere a local speciality, a kind of chausson au canard that I never try again. run as fast as possible.

we were in the hotel and, as the menu seemed good, we ate there. the restaurant serves the usual steaks and salads, etc. but they also have local dishes, of which they are quite proud. my wife had sanglier (wild boar) stew and I tried. a plate of three to house made local specialties from a choice of six. the cheese and the meat filled teig were really delicious. we had no beginning or dessert, which we were full and happy with the one cure. the pitchets of the weine were filled with bottle, not nameless plastic barrels.

staff and service. eat ok, but they could spend 27 euro on a set menu somewhere else and enjoy it much more
