Grand Tavern in Farmington is an absolute gem in the neighborhood. I'm always craving their Boneless Wings, Turkey Reuben, Chicken Quesadilla, and Burgers. They always have great specials to accomodate the entire family. The atmosphere here is lively and fun, with great music setting the perfect vibe for a great time. But what truly sets Grand Tavern apart is their fantastic service! The staff is friendly and genuinely makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Grand Tavern at its heart is a sports bar. There are TVs everywhere, which works out really well if you love sports as much as I do. They have a sandwich with fried pickles, try this. Their food is very unique for a sports bar, and flavorful at that. It's not very usual to see a black bean and goat cheese quesadilla on any menu, so you have to hand it to them for being creative to cater to pickier eaters who want more than the typical hot wings and beer.
While we had just added Grand Tavern to our list of great finds, I am sorry to say I have to strongly discourage anyone from patronizing this establishment. An individual told us he was the manager and was not able to contact the owners over a $2.50 incorrect charge. After being pushed he then said he was the owner and told us to pay the bill and leave. Sounds like a good business plan!!!!
Nothing special. Music was loud and terrible. Meal was so, so. I had Mahi Tacos, which were good but other two meals were not great. Not impressed with the beer selection, especially for a bar that claims they have craft brews. Might Door Dash the Mahi Tacos but will not go back.
