We were shown to a seat at the back of the restaurant and eventually all 4 of us got the same tatty menus. Apparently they are waiting on new ones being delivered. Drinks were ordered and received in a relatively short time. I wanted scallops to start. They had none. I reordered prawns. I chose veal for a main course. They had none. They haven't had veal on the menu for months yet I read two different veal dishes on the menu. I opted for sea bass. They had none. Nor did they have smoked haddock or lobster. I then chose chicken. Big mistake. My friend ordered gnocchi. After we had all eaten our starters the waiter returned to inform my friend that they had run out of gnocchi. Poor service. Po...
Sadly not a good experience for us, sat at back of restaurant in a dark out dated decor place, using our phone torches to read the menu. One of our party were gluten free and we were told no bread was available as TESCO had a fire alarm and they couldn't get in ! Then one of our friends wanted just to have haddock again this was not available due to TESCO's fire alarm. That was it we just finished our drinks paid and left ! Sadly you should have just said this was out of stock not tell us you shop fir it in Tesco. Sadly disappointed as this was my first visit and I will not be returning.
This was our 4th visit to Gratzi in as many weeks for sit in dining. The food, service and wine are all excellent. Their menu perhaps requires updating as some of the selection was no longer available, but what was on offer was absolutely outstanding. We have tried dishes from both their Italian and Spanish Tapas menus all exquisite. Looking forward to our next visit soon.
Only one word can explain the amazing experience and food here. The food was out of this world, the Inferno Pizza was amazing and the starter Chicken Crepe was out of this world. Book a table for 7pm on 29 Apr for an 18th birthday. Arrived to find place closed. No phone call and no notice on door. Under current ownership, an absolute disgrace. You cannot trust or rely on this restaurant. Used to be good. Do yourself a favour and book elsewhere. Meal type: Dinner
