Tacos. All sorts of tacos. The carnitas Mexican taco is a top favorite of mine, its like a street taco. Also their crispy shredded beef is delicious. My mom loves the fish tacos, grilled and fried. Both are great. I also tried their taco salad, with carne asada. That was great too! Lastly, their breakfast burritos are so so good!! And you need to try their roasted salsa. Soooo good!!
Sazón. That's what this place has that a lot of the other MX restaurants in the area are lacking. The food is fresh here, served hot, properly seasoned. They serve beer but it's not at the expense of the food like other MX restaurants nearby. It may not be as scenic other places but that's not why I go here. The app is also helpful if you come often.
Really liked the food here, on par with the other couple really good Mexican restaurants in Long Beach. They have daily specialties that are very expensive. Really enjoyed the Torta, which was large enough to make two meals. Nice neighborhood too. Will definitely return to Great Mex. Let me not forget that the customer service was great.
ask for chorizo and egg breakfast burrito special for 7$ before 11am. generous on eggs and cheese. generous with condiments. free carrots, jalapenos and salsas. cashier helped me pack and carry my large takeout group order to my car. i dont recommend the plates. bad portions and bland. but burritos are good. fair prices Reserva una mesa ahora
Went for taco Tuesday and they had a decent selection of tacos, with meat and also vegetarian. I got the grilled fish and asada. Everything you'd expect from a taco ...they were also having a $2 Coors light promo. A small location with limited parking in the area.
Reliable good Mexican food. Fast service, big salsa. There are more seats with a parklet conversion, but fewer parking spaces. You are our restaurant for good reason.
