Thr Great Wall is Covid friendly. They strongly suggest that you order ahead by phone, if its busy keep trying. If you order at the location, they have set it up where the menu is on the window and you order through plexy glass at the door and only one person can order at a time. I wish I would have taken a picture of the food. I got their version of the bourbon chicken. My thoughts of bourbon chicken that I have had was from the malls in America where its grilled chicken thighs in a sauce. This tasted like old chicken thighs and the sauce taste like sweet and sour SALT!!! It had a few pieces of broccoli in it and it came with fried rice. But I had to drain most of the sauce and let the rice...

I used to dine here so much. I would wonder why the wings looked dark and too black around the bone. I questioned them and they said they pre fry them every 4 hours and then when you call they dip them. So unsanitary I stopped going because after spending all that money they refused to remake ot fresh stating I needed to bring in all eight pieces to receive all eight pieces. Well after plating my family food and getting them to try it it tasted bad. We threw them and kept what wasn't plated. Who pre fry food and trips when someone doesn't like it...a place I no longer go to.

If you're considering trying this little hole-in-the-wall, I would advise against it. You'd be better off buying a can of dog food—it would taste better! I spent $20 on a single meal, and when I asked for sweet and sour sauce, they wanted to charge me extra! What I was served was supposed to be chicken curry, but it was just a mix of onions and peppers with only two small pieces of chicken. The flavor was overly greasy and unpleasant. The entire restaurant was covered in plastic wrap, which added to the unappetizing atmosphere. Just a terrible experience overall!

It’s a shame that they charge for some hot oil or hot sauce. Most Chinese restaurants will provide condiments for customers, by request. The food was ok but I won’t return due to them being so ridiculously cheap about giving me hot sauce. There also was hardly anywhere to sit, so I already had no place to eat. They could have given me the tiny hot oil just for the fact I had nowhere even to sit and eat. There are better Chinese restaurants in the area that aren’t so stingy with their customers and where you can actually have a seat. Reserva una mesa ahora

I called and asked if they still did combination plates. Guy said no combos. So I tell him I want my 3 dinner and order of wings. I get there... look at menu guy lied, they do have combos. He said well this is what I put in so this is what you get. That's horrible customer service. Then I paid for a bowl of sweet sour. Got home no sauce, chicken all dry and chewy. This place use to be good. I don't know what happed. Wasn't happy at all with my experience from here tonight.

I'm from Chinatown in California, and this is easily the worst food I've ever experienced! It's truly awful, so don't waste your money. The fried rice isn't even yellow, and the pork was tough. There was too much liquid in the vegetables. I've tried Chinese food all around the world, and this is incredibly disrespectful to the culture. Houston really has some of the worst food.

This is the worst service ever. The manager is rude and very unprofessional! He was over talking me and didn’t even allow me to speak. This restaurant is very ghetto, i seen workers eating in the kitchen area. How are you making peoples food while eating at the same time?! Very unsanitary. I will not be returning ever…

I wouldn't eat here again if my life depended on it! Horrible customer service, Everything is literally disgusting except the drinks and egg rolls. Why are we putting carrots in orange chicken? Horrible management! Wouldn't give me a refund for food I did not want to eat because it was disgusting! Reserva una mesa ahora

Spend more than 60$ for a family meal. Portions are so small for to go than I realized. Yellow rice in fried rice is not my typical experience with other chinese restaurants. It’s average. A bit expensive for the portions but the lo mein is good not the fried rice.
