We stayed in the hotel above the restaurant for one night and decided to dine in, which we are glad we did. Being vegetarians who dislike mushrooms, we sometimes struggle to find good alternatives, but this was not the case here. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. I ordered the Paneer Tikka Masala and my partner had the Vegetarian Manchurian (which was spicy and made her nose run), both dishes were delicious along with the cheese naan bread. Came here as a group of 8, they wasn’t expecteing us even though we booked 6 weeks ago, staff moved tables around quickly to sort out our booking, 20 mins passed and we asked if we could have a drink, another half hour went by We asked if we could place our order when the food came the waiter didn’t know what he was bringing out and muddled our order so people got the wrong food we use to come here Years ago it was a brilliant night out with traditional atmosphere, now no atmosphere! Only alcoholic drinks are beer and wine Grat as a takeaway but Wouldn’t go back to eat in the restaurant x
Food was nice, but the service is terrible. The atmosphere in the restaurant is non existent. It’s both clinical and sterile and lacking anything that would make you want to return. Such a shame as the food is well cooked and flavoursome. The service leaves a lot to be desired.
