On Tuesday night, my friends and I went to the RSL for dinner. I decided to try the BBQ Texas ribs and they were absolutely amazing. The ribs were full of flavorful bark meat, tender corn and green beans. I couldn't get enough of it and ended up taking home leftovers. The ribs made for delicious sandwiches the next day and another satisfying dinner the following night. This meal was easily the best I've had in a long time at the RSL.
The Gardens cafe offers reasonably good lunch choices, happen to visit this place during my time off and tried weekdays lunch specials which wasn't bad. All staffs are very attentive and friendly, interior of the cafe is very modern, clean and pleasant for a casual...dining. It is tucked in Greenbank but if you are around, good choice to visit for a family lunch or catch ups.
I ordered the main dish of prawn at Knock and was quite disappointed when it arrived. I paid $26 for the meal and only received 6 prawns. My family also ordered the entree size garlic prawns and only received 4 prawns. I would not recommend ordering the garlic prawns if you are hungry.
the buffet was disappointing the prawns were soft and tasteless .they keep running out of fish wings bbq pork the desserts were cut so small and they were dry and tasteless you need to make the buffet better wont dine there again. Reserva una mesa ahora
The seafood dinner buffet was rather poor and disappointing. The prawns were soft, old and tasteless, crabs were pointless with hardly any meat, and the pork was dry and flavourless. I don't recommend this for the price.
I received very poor treatment from the employees who were comfortable with their unacceptable behavior throughout my visit. When I asked for assistance, the workers even went as far as threatening me.
Service was wonderful, friendly service and very clean, it was a lovely evening, plus we played pokies, love you Mum. Xx
