The staff at this restaurant is extremely welcoming and the breakfast food is delicious. The location is very convenient, with easy access to the R A Clubhouse and the West Sands within walking distance. You can also easily explore the beautiful architecture of St Andrews University buildings from the hotel. Located on the main street, this restaurant is centrally positioned making it convenient to access all key points in St. Andrews. The rooms are immaculate and the staff are extremely friendly. Language differences are not a problem here. At the golfer's pub restaurant, you can enjoy delicious food at an affordable price. Rating: Rooms 5, Service 5, Location 4. Highlight: Excellent value for money.
We loved it. Right in the Center of town and above a pub what more do you need. Check in super quick and easy. Nice size room on 1st floor. Elevator. No noise from pub, our room was right above it, but some from out front so we just shut the window. Huge bathroom. Nice breakfast in the morning. Didn’t get to have a dinner or even a beer at the pub but you should!!! Rooms: 5
I didn't stay at Greyfriars Inn, but I popped in for lunch and a couple of pints after exploring St Andrews. The atmosphere was fantastic and very pet-friendly. Fine without being exceptional. I went for the prawn and chorizo starter and the mac n cheese main. All very edible without blowing me away. Good selection of beers. Would go back
£4.25 for a pint of Diet Coke come here if you want to be robbed! Staff are very pleasant, but I just can’t get over the price of drinks. Will not be back here!
