This is a local greasy spoon. Zero frills, no diet logic, and no bullshit taken or given. Griffs is here to feed the neighborhood soul, and no need to bring in new customers. This they have zero interest in butting up people or overt customer service. Their portions are huge, their prices are good and the food is delicious. The house made ranch dressing is particularly great. Their catfish is coated in cornmeal, is moist in the middle and crunchy on the outside. Great if you like a heavily, smokey room Where they can't cook a steak because the grill is too hot. That being said, the wings were good, and so were the mushrooms.
