The best clean breakfast place in Montclair. I’ve been here two times with my boyfriend and I have to say I am very please with the service and quality of the food. You’re seated very quickly and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. At first I felt intimidated because I never saw such a fast-paced breakfast joint, but I ended up really falling in love with the coffee, tea and clean foods. I’ve had the blueberry lemon scone and the avocado toast. The toast comes with a poached egg, so I asked for scrambled instead and the waitress was kind enough to substitute it for me. It’s rare these days to find a place that after a couple visits, you become not just a customer but a friend. The Corner is by far our favorite cafe and brunch spot! Always the best food, best service, and best atmosphere. Freshest ingredients, fresh baked pastry items, and fresh juice, that satisfy even our palate, which is usually pretty picky. Oh and did I mention the most delicious chocolate chip cookie AND La Colombe’s coffee and draft lattes. Our go-to spot during a sunny day, rainy day, happy day, and not so happy day, and we always leave with a good talk, a great cup of coffee, and an awesome mood. Good vibes only! ;
Upon entering the restaurant, the first thing that catches your eye is the small outdoor area with picnic tables and patio heat lamps. Though compact, this space is vibrant and adorned with lively decor. As we stepped into the blue vestibule, we were greeted by a burst of bright colors from live plants and neon signs inside. Here are my impressions of the place: it’s clean, maintains an appropriate social distance, and has a lively atmosphere. We ordered two items from the daily specials menu, along with fresh juice and coffee. The food was fantastic, and the service was outstanding. We will definitely return.
I had a fantastic breakfast at a cozy spot in Montclair, NJ. My teenager discovered this place while walking by and noticed a line of people waiting outside. Today, we decided to give it a try, and it was a delightful surprise! As a lover of hot coffee, I was impressed—delicious, steaming coffee that they refill for you without even needing to ask. The food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the place was clean, with thoughtful little touches that enhanced the experience. I highly recommend giving it a try!

Good Service and Fresh Food. Very busy establishment with limited seating. The staff did their best to accommodate customers. Very polite people. Food tasted and looked fresh. Daily menu changes so your favorite may come and go. Flavor of brewed drink was possibly off due to the local water or condition of cup.
Cute place with outdoor seating. The wait staff is great. They give you the perfect amount of attention. I ordered the baquette and a chai latte. The latte was perfectly spiced and not too sweet. I will definitely come back.
super sweet little breakfast place. that can wait long, but if they time it right (I agree with arthur that a late breakfast seems to go away,) eating is delicious and their coffee is wonderful.
Our favorite place to eat!! The waitstaff is incredibly friendly, they know us by name. Food is outstanding and reasonably priced. Great atmosphere, the chocolate chip cookies are a must

I’ve never been let down by this place. I highly recommend trying their omelettes, and you definitely shouldn't miss the pancakes. You won’t be disappointed!
