As I looked for food options near Albany Amtrak station, the short stop time meant that getting something inside the station was my only option. I wish I had packed some snacks like chips or cookies, but instead, I decided to try a coffee and two sandwiches from the Hot menu, hoping they would be better than what the Amtrak café offered. Regrettably, I would take café food any day over this. The coffee was lukewarm, and the sandwiches were served cold. Additionally, items like tomatoes and lettuce came at an extra cost, which you should be aware of as they charge more for these toppings.

Stopped in to order food while my train was switching engines. I ordered two angus beef cheese burger combo meals, which were actually quite tasty. I was expecting fries with the combo meal. Instead I received potato salad. I don't normally eat store bought potato salad because its usually inedible. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the potato salad was almost as good as Mom's! Service was very quick and I was back on the train with time to spare. I will stop by again the next time I'm traveling on Amtrak through Albany Rensselaer!
Great place to get a breakfast sandwich or lunch. Big selection of snacks for your trip. Better than that, it's the cheerful attitude and helpfulness of the staff which made my experience great! Prices are fair and plenty of room to sit, relax and wait for your train.
The service was extremely slow. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich and waited over 45 minutes for it, despite reminding them multiple times. Unfortunately, I never received my order before I had to catch my train.

Wonderful place with a hard working, genuine team at the helm. Great coffee and a great location inside the train station. If you're ever passing through, grab a bite to eat or a quality coffee, you won't be disappointed!
Just a quick stop in while traveling along from South Bend, IN to NY Penn Station. Perfect spot for a quick average priced coffee refreshment and bite to eat to keep you up for that last stretch of one's journey
I got a delightful toasted everything bagel with cream cheese to go, and it was fantastic! The customer service was incredibly friendly, and the place was organized and tidy. Overall, a great experience!
