Have lunched n dined in this restaurant 4 times now. We went without booking for dinner last night but were lucky to get a table. Though understandbly the main restaurant was closed yesterday due current energy crisis as also low bookings due cost of living classes we were seated in the cafe area amongst other diners which was bright and tables were properly set up for dining. Quality of our food as always was excellent. Our requests fir veg guest were met without fuss. The quality, quantity n presentation of food was mouth watering. I recently visited Grove on the Hill and was sadly disappointed. The staff were very pleasant but lacking professional and the food took a long while to be served. Food quality was average at best and some dishes were poor. The lasagne was very watery as if it had been heated from frozen and the vegetables appeared to be standard boiled frozen veg. A 15% service charge was added to the bill which we paid but was not deserved. Won’t be returning to the restaurant.
Outstanding food wonderful staff! We went here midweek for dinner and the food was delicious. I had a creamy penne pasta which the waitress kindly recommended, and my partner had the pan fried sea bass (highly recommend). Great food, great service- what more do you need?! We were served by Udit who did a great job. The lady whose name I didn’t quite catch was very helpful too- thank you for recommending the dish I ate.
We were in the area and found a review on this restaurant. Wasn't sure what to expect. It was welcoming not too busy (Wednesday night) but enough diners not to feel alone. Food was excellent starters Sardine alla Giorno Insalata di Barbabietola and we both had Branzino con Pomodorini for mains. It wasn't the cheapest menu but price was worth for the quality of food Definitely go again

Overpriced food for the quality of the setting. Restaurant felt very bare with plastic plants as decor. Had to eventually get up to pay as servers never bothered with us after our main course and paid 12.5% service for the privilege. Carbonara was lovely, chicken parmigiana felt like a very cheap bit of chicken. Won't be returning unfortunately.
Three of us ate here on Sunday, the food was excellent, we shared a garlic pizza bread, we had mushroom Risotto, Tortellini and salad, my husband had the Mussels and sea bass, dessert was chocolate fudge cake and a cheese board, we had a lovely bottle of wine. Service was excellent the food was very tasty. Thank you.
Have been here a few times now and always friendly efficient service, varied menu and well cooked, tasty food. Not expensive and not cheap. Good quality and size of portions. Clean and well spaced, bit cold with the door open but that’s Covid rules so I just put my coat on my knees. Planned our next visit already!
Went for friend's birthday. Good service,big portions,good recommendation from staff. I found the wine prices a bit expensive but maybe due to location of venue.
