Grubbs Diner - Reserva de mesa

I have been a patron of Grubbs for many years. Recently, I have noticed that the staff is older and appear to be tired or stressed when asked for specific requests, such as a hard-boiled egg or light bacon. They seem reluctant to accommodate these requests and can be visibly annoyed. Additionally, when you mention that you are sitting upstairs, they complain about having to walk up the stairs. I suggest that Carol Stu considers hiring younger staff who are more able to easily navigate the stairs and are able to provide better customer service, such as being able to smile at customers instead of snapping at them. Furthermore, I have also noticed a decline in the quality of the food.

I have read comments claiming that the staff at this restaurant are not friendly, but that is simply not true. They are always nice and it's important to remember that this is a cafe, not a social club. I recently had a huge breakfast for only £4.50 and it was fresh, hot, and not greasy. Everything was cooked perfectly and they are consistent with their quality. I have also tried their homemade lasagne, as well as their beef and chicken dinners, and they were all very good. In my opinion, this is the best cafe in town without a doubt, and it's no surprise that it's always packed. The fact that it's consistently busy speaks volumes about its popularity.

Today, I visited the restaurant with my husband and young son. My husband ordered the full breakfast, which was a large portion. I opted for an omelette with chips and beans, and my son enjoyed sausage, chips, and peas. The atmosphere was friendly and the food was of great quality. This was not our first visit and we will definitely be returning again in the future.

Greedymans breakfast is my favourite..massive platter, lovely!Doesnt take too long to get served and is much better value and quality than a lot of supposedly upmarket places Ive been to, coffee and tea are nice as well Reserva una mesa ahora

This place is always busy. It provides decent food at very reasonable prices. They are always quick and efficient. I have the breakfast there very time I visit Middlesbrough. Would recommend.

Best breakfasts in boro and at such a good price too. Polished off a greedy mans breakfast in and took a standard breakfast to work so glad it does take outs.

Will never enter this establishment again!! Rotten service and very average food!! Messy food on the floor and my cup of tea had old tea stains in the cup

Skip the hotel breakfast if at the Travelodge as just a few minutes walk away opposite the bus station is this cafe. Great value, great staff. Reserva una mesa ahora

This is my favourite cafe ever. I've lived in London for the past 3 years but every time I come home to visit I always make time to go here.

I've try 2 meals one being the breakfast with tea and toast it was ok but could of been better. It's ok for cheapness won't be going again.
