I appreciated that they also brought a nice big pitcher of ice water to the table. They aren 't open late. I went there at 7:15PM and they were already out of their delicious skewers of BBQ meat. 8PM close. Pork in coconut milk was tasty but extremely fatty. But the serving was generous enough that even leaving the big chunks of fat on the plate I 'd had plenty of meat. I ordered catering for our family Christmas party. When I went to pick it up the afternoon of the dinner, they didn't have my order. This is after i confirmed the night before and the morning of. What's worse, I've been a customer of Guiradelco's for 25 yrs, and that evening no one would talk to me, no one apologized and the person who took my order pretended he didn't know what was going on, and then wondered why I was so upset. Total gas light. Don't order your catering here. Kusinera in East Meadow/Garden City is a great alternative. Better yet, order anything for catering from this restaurant's menu, and a great cook I know will do it for 15% off their listed price.
This restaurant and Filipino food store is truly authentic. The food is absolutely delicious! If you are Filipino and haven't been here yet, you should be ashamed because this place is the real deal. During my visit, I tried the huh and fishbeef dishes, both of which were amazing. The male manager was incredibly kind and accommodating, providing information about the food and even giving a recommendation. In addition to dining in, I also ordered food to go for my family and they loved it.
We ordered noodles, pork and chicken skewers, Shanghai lumpia, garlic rice, and pork lechon kawali. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted fantastic! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the takeout containers were very convenient with lids that made it easy to take food to go. The portion sizes were great for the price as well! We also took home some Halo Halo, which was amazing.

for many years we are happy there. to make many traditional philippinic meals made like mother. food business part has imported products and frozen foods to make traditional food home.
We had a wonderful day enjoying delicious food and trying out various dishes. There were so many fantastic options to choose from. The service was excellent as well.
Yet another hidden gem on Long Island! It was such a thrill to discover this fantastic Filipino home cooked dining spot just a short car ride away from NYC.
Not like it used to, less groceries for now. More because of the pandemic... still GOOD service though!
