The most welcoming and cheerful staff I have ever encountered at a restaurant! Nothing is too much trouble, and the food is outstanding. My 9 year old boy was treated as if part of their own family and was thoroughly delighted with his experience, as was I and another family member! The food arrived quickly, and was an absolute delight nicely warming and carefully spiced. Thank you so much Gulshan! Gulshan provided the best meal by far that we had during our 28 day vacation in Britain. Indeed, it was the ONLY truly good meal. I like spiced food, my wife does not but our server recommended two completely different dishes to meet our respective tastes and both were superb. Do not hesitate if you are in Newtown or passing through, try this restaurant. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

We dined at Gulshan while we was on a short break to Powys. The lady who owned the lodge recommended Gulshan to us. The food was amazing and the garlic chicken was the best I had ever eaten. It’s such a shame this restaurant is so far away from home or we would be here all the time. Service was unbeatable, the gentleman who served us, could not have done enough. Highly recommend!

Everything tasted fresh and was well-presented, with evident care and creativity. Staff very friendly and attentive. Helped me choose a special that was a step up from a madras. If you aren’t on a whole bottle of wine, the by-glass options could be more, but what I had was totally fine. Recommended for sure! Reserva una mesa ahora

Me and my husband went a few weeks ago served by Ali who is amazing with the customers and works very hard, olshish guy behind the bar served our drinks very pleasant at all times, great atmosphere,great food, great staff what more could you ask for.
