that was my second stay in wavy bath. the first was in september when the weather was nice. to be on ruhr river, there was a lot of activity: people swimming, sunbathing and hiking. it was quiet and beautiful. my youngest stay in february was. slightly colder, but still pleasant. I like the small quiet room and the quiet atmosphere. Am 20. Juni 2017 suchten wir das "Gutshof Wellenbad“ auf. Wir nahmen auf der Außenterrasse Platz (Tisch 53). Erst nach 15 Min. Wartezeit wurde unsere Bestellung entgegengenommen. Nach 50 Min. Wartezeit reklamierte ich die Bestellung. Die korpulente Bedienung, genauso ruppig wie beim Erstkontakt, meinte, es sei schließlich noch eine größere Gesellschaft zu bedienen, sie ginge nachfragen. Nach 3 Minuten erhielt ich die Information, das Essen sei "in der Mache". Wegen Problemen in der Küche bekäme ich jedoch eine verkleinerte Portion, damit ich gleich Bescheid wusste. Wir haben hier einmal übernachtet und zu Abend gegessen.Das (Doppel-!!)Zimmer war winzig und dunkel, das Bett mit 140 Breite für Mutter und Sohn im Erwachsenenalter auch sehr klein, eher ein gutes Einzelzimmer. Das Bad klein, aber modern. Der größte Mangel aber: weder im Zimmer, noch im Bad gibt es Garderoben- bzw. Handtuchhaken, man kann also nichts aufhängen, das ist wenig praktisch gedacht. Das Abendessen: Pfifferlings-Macchiato: schmeckte leider nicht nach Pfifferlingen (deren Geschmack man doch recht einfach herausarbeiten kann).Das Steak wunderbar gebraten, die Soße lecker, ebenso die Kartoffeln; nur was macht dieses "Stroh" da drauf (irgendein frittierter Lauch oder sowas; trocken kra...
beautifully located restaurant hotel outside the air. it is located a little outside of hard in the beautiful rh meadows. ideal also as a stop on a bike tour. we were there for a high-time celebration and I can only say that the team has given itself a lot of effort, everything was beautifully decorated and washed out. eating was really very good - but it is known that you can argue about taste. who is in heavy(s)t, it should really try on a beautiful sunny day! price is slightly higher, but that is justifiable!
I visited a high time and stayed an extra night. the rooms are very cozy and look in the country style. eating was ok, Wi-Fi worked hardly and even the credit card machine had problems. so stunning environment, endless way to wander or cycle, beautiful environment, average food, but overall a beautiful experience
