Gyu-kaku Cupertino, Ca

I made a reservation with open table for PM. I had to leave by PM to go somewhere else. We arrived and check in at PM, the host told us we would be seated in minutes and confirmed that we want to sit inside as we had written on the reservation. We waited for minutes and then went back inside at the correct time of the reservation. The response from the host was to wait minutes more. We then sat outside and waited, when the host finally came out it was PM and he began to walk us to the outside area, to which we said we had requested inside (and had discussed in person with the host at The host told us it would be more minutes. By the time we got to sit down to a table we had already been at the restaurant for minutes! The host ended up seating us outside at PM and I had to leave by PM. By the time we began ordering it was already All in all I think that the reservation was not taken seriously which is a huge defect in how this restaurant is ran. We told the server that we were in a rush and he was able to get us in and out by although we avoided ordering certain items that we knew would take longer.

We had a group of going for lunch on Sunday. We had to reserve online. It was hard to get a reservation for noon. We had a good experience with Gyu-Kaku at Honolulu location a week ago, so we wanted to try the Cupertino location. This is definitely stars below the Honolulu location The meat quality was not as good. The steak was tough. We were seated outside, so the grill electric. The temperature is not as high as the gas grill. It was a different experience. I expect they source the meat differently, but it does not explain why the marinated meat was too salty in general. We ordered ramen for kids. It is strange that one of the ramen came out way to salty. I do not understand why the other ramen is OK.

So amazing, try it!!! They do not have an all you can eat option but they have happy hour daily. Their Kobe was so good!

The food was delicious meats were well marinated and sauced. Staff were energetic and service was great.
